Hand-made from quality pine logs, the nightstand sports a rugged look. It is normal to have some cracks in the log pieces. Known as checks, these cracks occur when the logs dry and the cells shrink, proof that the pine is solid. Checking is absolutely safe and helps enhance the rustic beauty.

The McCallister Nightstand features a sturdy, spacious drawer and an open shelf so you can keep your alarm clock, reading lamp, and books easily accessible. The drawer has solid pine fronts and is designed with sliding dovetail and dado construction. It is attached to the unit with side-mount, epoxy-coated roller slides to ensure it opens and closes smoothly even after years of use.
