Purchased this product with the Emily 5 drawer chest. When assembling I scratched the surface by putting the drawers on top of the dresser (shallow scratch). You definitely need a power drill with a screwdriver attachment to make it easy to assemble.

I had been looking for a dresser for my kid for a while. Something that she could not pull the drawers onto her head easily, that was short enough for her to get into, but that she could use for a while and seems to be able to take a beating. The mirror is a nice touch. I am really happy with this one for the price.
