The chest is crafted with hardwood solids and matched cathedral cherry veneers treated with a warm, burnished sable finish. Each of the five spacious drawers features full-extension, ball-bearing metal guides, French dovetailing at the front, and English dovetailing at the back. Drawer interiors are tinted in color, and drawer spaces are sealed for dust proofing. Below the top felt-lined drawer are two apothecary-style drawers, each fronted with a multi-drawer panel that gives the illusion of smaller drawers. Two plain-fronted drawers below those offer visual contrast. Mix-and-match knob and cup-style antique brass hardware completes the vintage vibe.
